It was finally time for gravel debut this weekend for Patrik in the new Ford Fiesta Super 2000 in the IRC series with PS Engineering. A debut Patrik was looking forward to.

On the first stage the Frenchman Germain Bonnifies had technical problems and blocked the road for several drivers:
- "We had to stop on the stage because there was a car in the middle of the road, then we tried to run up Juha Salo who went before us, but because of the dust we had to wait for one and a half minutes" says Patrik.

In the meantime, unfortunately, the engine warmed up and the car started to leak water:
- "We tried to fill in water and cool down the engine after the finish, but there was nothing we could do" says a disappointed Patrik.
