Patrik Flodin runs the last event of the year Wales Rally GB with a Finnish co-driver Anton Alene in the right chair. the two was in the lead with almost two and a half minute before todays eight stages. Mical Kosciuszko was second but had to retire on the way back to service last night and with that Patriks lead was extended to almost another half minute before the start today.

Patrik and Timo has been going easy on the throttle today:
-"I has been a good day today. I have played it safe since I really want to win here again this year"says Patrik
"But I miss the fight with Nikara. It was really great fun and it was a sad that he went of yesterday and had to retire".

Despite the fact that they cut off some of the speed today the still won four out of six stages and it could have ended on the second last stage of the day. After a jump a big hole had formed:
-" It was quite chocking and scary. There was no way to see the hole before we were in the air and once there it is not much to do about it" Patrik tells us "It was really close that we rolled over. We landed on the nose and all we could see true the windshield was the gravel road, it felt like minutes before it all were over".

Many drivers that came later wrecked their cars completely and Koscuiuszko who started over accordion to super rally rules hurt his back badly.
Patrik: -"I can say we felt it too, We both got a bad headache and saw stars" Patrik says.

On the next stage they run into problems with the suspension in the back of the car probably caused by the jump.
They lost some time and came in second on the stage but still made 15,8 seconds on Martin Semerad who is second in class right now.
-"We will fix the suspension issues on service tonight don´t worry" says Patrik and looks forward for tomorrows stages.
