Patrik Flodin and his co-driver Göran Bergsten
is in Spain attending the P-WRC event. The Rally
started yesterday and the Swedish crew ended the
day in the lead with 35.9 seconds after a day
with a mix of gravel and tarmac stages.
The stages of today was tarmac stages only and
that is not the favorite surface for the Swedish
crew. Despite this they were able to keep the
speed up and defend the lead. During the first
three stages however they almost had to give away
the lead to Michal Kosciuszko on second place.
-" I didn´t really get the pace during
the first three stages today" says Patrik
" We were able to get some more speed after
service and everything felt much better"
They were able to gain some of the lost seconds
during the afternoon and are still in the lead
with eleven seconds for tomorrow.
-" We will have to go flat out tomorrow.
I promise that I will do everything I can to keep
the lead over the finnish line" Patrik promise
us.
Six stages on tarmac will finnish the rally tomorrow.
the rally will start at 07.02 and the finnish
is calculated to 15.14.
