Waterpump failure stopped Patrik and Göran on Friday in Germany
Patrik and his co-driver Göran made their first start together in WRC in the German event with the Italian Grifone team in a WRC-Mini car. We are here to learn and our goal is to get more and more speed during the event Patrik told us before the start.

They had a good time on the first stage aand came in as third of the Mini´s :
-“It was great fun and we had so much more to give” says Patrik

Unfortunately it all came to an end on stage two. The engine overheated and Patrik had to stop
-“ It was really tough luck the drivebelt went off from the waterpump after a small rock got stuck” Patrik tells us

The team has been working on the car for three hours and the decision has been made to restart tomorrow but they have a 28 minute penalty from today.
-“We will have to look at this as a test and drive in our own pace tomorrow and learn as much as we can for the rest of the weekend” Patrik ends.

The leader of the rally is Sebastian Loeb 7,4 secounds before Sebastian Ogier and 1.18,4 before Hirvonen.
