A Swedish team amongst top tree when Flodin came in third in Rally Finland -"My worst Rally Finland ever" Patrik commented.
Patrik Flodin and his co-driver Göran Bergsten had high hopes and was the favorite for the win in Rally Finland this year in P-WRC. An it looked good for a long time with the two in the lead of the rally but technical issues has risen one after the other and for a while all hope were out.
_" I have never seen worse this goes to history of one of the worst rallies ever from my part" Patrik says " Things beyond our control has broken down and made us loose time in many stages, so we have run this rally over the limit the whole way true with whatever that was still working"

They lost the lead when the power steering broke down that was fixed but a shut soon gave up and the lead from the beginning of the rally transformed into second place.
-"The goal for today was to get that minute we lost and pass Paddon" Patrik tells us.

During the first stages of today it looked like it was going to happen
-"We lost forth gear to stages before service everything we just gained was gone." says Patrik
At service the gearbox was changed but the problems continued.
-"The gearshift linkage was acting totally crazy but still the worst was that a turbo hose was leaking" Patrik says.

So without turbo pressure they were loosing power and lost alot of time and when the last stage came it looked like they were going to loose the third place as well.
-" the last stage was uphill and we only had 3.3 seconds down to forth. I really didn´t think that we were going to make it but we went flat out way over anything that is sane to do we did beat up that car but it took us over the line and we came in third." Patrik ends.
