Technical issues for Patrik and the lead was gone – but tomorrows goal is to get it back in Rally Finland
Patrik and Göran was second after the first day with only 0.5 seconds up to the leader in PWRC when they went out on todays stages.

They made a great start and after the first stage they were in the lead and they kept it until the seventh stage.
-"We lost our powersteering half way into stage eight" Patrik tells us " we lost a lot of time but were still in the lead when we finished the stage" The next stage SS9, it all got worse
-"A strut broke and we lost our lead" Patrik says.
And it was not enought on the last stage the brakes stopped working so we had to run only with the handbrake. -"that is a bit scary on these fast roads but Göran started to read the pace notes a bit earlier so we did not run into any surprises." patrik says

When the eight stages of the day was run the lead was gone and they came in third 1.06,6 minutes after the leader Hayden Paddon.
-"it is a pitty it came out this way. Finland is one of my favorite rallies but we have not given up tomorrow will be flat out and we will se how it goes" Patrik says.

The rally continues tommorow Saturday with not less than 11 special stages.
