Patrik Flodin and his co driver Göran Bergsten is pleased with the Rally Italia Sardegna event. From the beginning the plan was to start in a WRC-Mini this weekend but after the test together with Grifone and Prodrive it was agreed that the Swedish crew should start and try out some parts during the rally in a class 1 Mini. In return Patrik and Göran can choose any another event to start in the WRC-Mini.
-“I am happy about this opportunity” says Patrik. “ We have used this weekend to get to learn the car and change our driving from the P-WRC car to WRC and it wasn´t easy from the beginning but we have improved and today I am really pleased with our driving” says Patrik.

This event was the first event for the WRC-Minis and Patrik and Göran has, despite that they drive in another class been showing that they can keep up with the pace that the drivers from the manufacturing team have. They have been more or less the second fastest Mini during the whole event were Dani Sordo ended on six place as the best Mini driver.

Prodrive and Grifone is also happy with the results that the Swedish team accomplished.
-“ They are pleased with our results and impressed that we were able to keep up with Dani Sordo” says Patrik.

Now the duo is looking forward to the real start in WRC. When is not yet decided.
-“I am Really looking forward to drive a real WRC-Mini. It feels that we are well prepared” Patrik ends smiling.

Next event is P-wrc in Argentina 27-29 May.
