Patrik have a stedy lead i Japan

Patrik and his Co-driver Göran Bergsten is leading big in P-WRC Rally Japan after 8 stages on Friday.

When one of the main competitors the local hero Toshi Arai crahsed out on the second stage for the day. The battle about seconds were over in the top of P-WRC.
Patrik and Göran has continued in a class for themselves and have a comfortable two minute lead when Friday came to an end.

The rally is really tricky to drive and the gravel roads are really soft. Many of the drivers has had problems with the surface but for Patrik and Göran it has been working fine.
_"We had some problems with the suspension on the first stage of the day" says Patrik."But we changed some settings for the next stage and since then it has been working fine. When we run the stages the second time it was really ruff, the roads are just worn out and we were hitting the undercarriage all the time". Says Patrik. -"We still got two hard days to go before we reach the finish line so it feels great to have a comfortable lead. That is something we will try to keep until Sunday". Says Patrik and continues.
-" It is a bit sad to be alone in the lead and not having anyone to have a real fight with. Rally is just so much more fun when you have a real fight for seconds, so it was a pity that Arai had to throw in the towel." Patrik finnish.

Two days and 16 stages is still to be run in the rally, the cars will reach the goal around 8 am European time.
