Rally Finland starts tonight

-“The Rally is a bit special this year it runs over two days instead of tree the reason is that it celebrate 6o years as an event. So after finish on Saturday night it will be huge fireworks and celebrations all night long” says Patrik.

Rally Finland is the fifth round out of nine in the P-WRC championship. All drivers have to elect to not start in tree rallies out of the nine. Patrik decided not to start in round two and four. The other two rounds Rally Sweden and Rally Jordan was a success with victory in both of the rounds.

Earlier during the week the crews has been out on recognition and the roads look like usual.
-“The roads are fast and nice the only thing is that they are too dry so a little rain would not hurt. We will see how they hold up during the rally.” Says Patrik

Today the shakedown was done.
-“We did four turns today trying out different settings. The car feels great and I am looking forward for the start of the rally” says Patrik

The rally consists of 19 stages with a total length of 31,29 km. if we count transport in between the stages the rally is 1308,17 km. 18 Crews are coming to start to compete for points in the championship.
